We're on a Putumayo compliation! - February 2, 2010
Exciting news! One the songs from our most recent record got included on a Putumayo compilation CD. It’s called Stomp, Stomp and it was on Swingin’ in Daddyland. Now it will also be on Jazz Playground, which comes out March 9th on the Putumayo Kids label. They happened to pick one of the few tunes that I did not actually write (it was written in the 1930’s by The Cats & The Fiddle), so I won’t be able to retire off this. But I’m psyched anyway.
Here’s some info about the CD, and about a tour that Putumayo has put together, in case you have friends in any of these cities.
